Migrating WooCommerce to Shopify - losing my mind

client wants to move from WooCommerce to Shopify. 2,000 products, 500 product variations, customer order history, and a custom pricing structure based on user roles. Shopify does not support role-based pricing natively.

The product migration is straightforward with CSV export/import but the order history and custom pricing are where I am stuck. Anyone done this?

For order history, use Shopify’s REST API to import historical orders. Set them as fulfilled and closed. The data maps cleanly - line items, shipping, taxes, customer info. We built a script that handles this for WooCommerce exports.

The role-based pricing is the real problem. Shopify’s native approach is price lists with B2B features, which requires Shopify Plus ($2,300/month). At regular Shopify tiers, you need an app like Bold Custom Pricing or Wholesale Club.

I just went through a smaller version of this (200 products). The LitExtension migration app handled the product and customer migration automatically. Not sure about the pricing complexity though.

Thanks. The Shopify Plus requirement for native B2B pricing is a dealbreaker for this client’s budget. Going to evaluate the Bold app option and present the cost comparison. Might end up recommending they stay on WooCommerce if the app fees eat the savings from switching.
