Forum Demo Migration allows moving a limited number of entities (forum categories, forum posts, forum users, etc.). At the same time, it provides an opportunity to check how CMS2CMS service works.
After your forum Demo Migration is complete, you can check what forums and forum topics were migrated from your Existing forum board to the New one. Go through the links and see how your data looks like on the current forum and how it is displayed after demo migration to the new board.
By clicking the “Details” button you can collapse or expand the list with migrated content items.
In case you want to check the Demo Migration results for not only Forums and Forum Topics but other entities as well, go to the back-end of your forum board using the access credentials for it.
Follow the list to ensure that all the data migrated properly:
- Users
- Forums
- Forum Topics
- Forum Posts
Afterward, complete your migration and transfer the all the data.
